What should I do if the microphone in my headset is producing poor sound quality?

This problem is usually is solved by adjusting the software program that is used for communication.
You can test the microphone quality with ?Windows Sound Recorder?. Before you start, carry out the following steps to adjust the recording sound quality with Windows sound recorder:
Open Windows sound recorder - see Figure 1
Select File > Properties > Convert Now - see Figure 2
Change Attributes to 48 kHz; 16 Bit Stereo 187 kb/sec - see Fig. 3
Try to record

If the microphone still has distortion, please test the headset on another computer. If the microphone still does not appear to be working, return it to the place of purchase for servicing.
