What should I do if the microhone is not working?

The microphone in our PC headsets uses a standard PC microphone interface and no drivers are needed for Windows. If it does not appear to be working, please try out the following steps:
Ensure that the sound card you use has a microphone input and do not use a line in
Ensure that the switch on the headset cable is set to ON, then test the microphone again - see Figure 1
Ensure that the microphone is adjusted to comfortable level and not set to mute - see Figure 2
Test the headset on another computer

If the microphone still does not appear to be working, return the headset to the place of purchase for servicing.
