What should I do if the microphone output is not loud enough?

The microphone in our headsets uses a standard Mac microphone interface and no drivers are needed for Mac.
If the microphone does not appear to be working, please try the following steps:
Ensure that the sound card used has a microphone input and does not use a "line in".
Ensure the switch on the headset cable is set to ON, then test the microphone again. See Figure 1.

Ensure the microphone is adjusted to a comfortable level and not set to mute. (See Sound Control Panel)
Test the headset on another computer.

 

 

 

If the microphone still does not appear to be working, please return it to the place of purchase for servicing.
