The ORANGE flashing LED, which may be accompanied by a beeping signal, indicates incorrect use of the system and can be prevented by:

Placing a mobile unit in the charging slot on the left side of the docking station and making sure that a headset is connected to the other mobile unit (telephony use)

or

connecting headsets to both mobile units (intercom use).
