The BW 900 system uses Bluetooth Class 1 with a range up to 100 meteres in free line of sight. In typical office environments, the range can, however, be reduced by the materials of walls.

The BW 900 headset connects directly to a mobile phone. As almost all mobile phones today are Class 2 devices the wireless range is limited to 10 meters by the mobile phone.

Other devices which emit radio noise in the 2.4GHz band might interfere with and reduce the range of the BW 900 system. (WiFi,  DECT, Wireless alarms, Microwave ovens etc)
