Understanding Your Partner for Fruitful Communication
09.03.2006 Copenhagen

For those frequently on the move on business, a good quality headset can make the deciding difference for effective communication. Sennheiser Communications aims to enable calls of the highest speech and sound standards, even away from the office. They offer four premium headset models, designed to improved sound quality and comfort for mobile business telephony. With the models MB 10, MB 20, MB 30 and MB 40, they offer ear-hook, neckband or headband versions to suit almost any personal taste.

As the boom in the mobile pn new models offer more specialized office functions for everyday business. Despite multifunctional mobile phones, however, personal business calls often suffer from poor sound quality due to inferior headsets. According to Sennheiser Communications, their four new cable-link professional headsets allow topnotch business calls even over mobile phone. Their new MB series technology is tailored to the specific requirements of mobiles and the individually adapted cables guarantee the same premium performance as on a fixed line phone.

Clear communication with no misunderstandings is essential for fruitful business calls, and this is especially challenging when on-the-go. The technical properties of Sennheiser?s new mobile phone headsets were designed specifically for excellent voice transmission. They report that the built-in noise cancelling microphone completely filters out all unwanted noise in the immediate vicinity. Further, their ActiveGardTM technology is also put to good use in that it helps protect the hearing from sudden extremes of volume and excessive noise interference. ActiveGardTM ensures a timely dampening of sudden peaks in volume as well as reducing "creeping" increases.

Not only technical specifications serve to determine the quality of the cablelink headsets. Unlike in everyday office situations, long and frequent mobile phone calls can be uncomfortable. Sennheiser reports that by contrast, their new model designs - optionally with ear-hook (MB 10), neckband (MB 20), headband (MB 30) or ear-hook plus headband (MB 40) - place no comfort limits, even on lengthy calls. A further advantage of these cable-linked headsets over wireless solutions is that they are not bound by battery life considerations.

In all the mobile headsets, the professional standard is taken through to the details. To prevent any possible loss of quality due to use of adapters, there are special cable plugs for Nokia, Siemens and Sony Ericsson ? and in this case for the current and future ports. For Motorola, Samsung and other manufacturers there is a three-pole 2.5 mm jack. The ability to accept and end calls by means of an end/answer-call-button also makes for fast and flexible use in day-to-day business situations.
