What is the range of the VMX 100 headset?
The VMX 100 headset uses Bluetooth Class 2 with a range up to 10 meters in free line of sight.
- In typical use the range will be one arm distance between the headset and the Bluetooth enabled device.
- When used together with a mobile phone, the optimum performance is reached when the user wears the headset on the same side of the body as the mobile.
This is the same with any other headset on the market. - The VMX 100 is equipped with eSCO technology. If your Bluetooth enabled device is equipped with the same technology, both the range and sound quality performance will be enhanced.
- Devices that emit radio frequency in the 2.4GHz band might interfere with and reduce the range of the VMX 100 headset (Wi-Fi, DECT, Wireless alarms, Microwave ovens, etc.).
