How do I pair and use the VMX 100 headset with a PC or Mac?
Most standard PC/Mac operating systems support the basic hardware drivers for headset connections. However, you need to make sure that the required Bluetooth profiles are correctly installed (headset or handsfree) on your computer.
You can do this by installing the supplied software for your Bluetooth dongle or by downloading the latest software from your computer manufacturers support website.
PC Step 1
When installing the supplied or downloaded software the following screen shots will appear. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Step 2
- Put the VMX 100 headset in pairing mode by pressing and holding down the Volume Plus (+) or Volume Minus (-) key, while you open the VMX 100 microphone arm. The LED will flash red/blue.
- Now search for all audio devices in the area and the VMX 100 headset should appear. Select and click on next.
Step 3
When asked, enter the security code (0000) for verification
Then click on Pair Now...
Step 4
When paired up, now connect the VMX 100 headset to your computer, using your new Bluetooth workspace.
Step 5
Finally when paired up and connected, make sure all default sounds are moved to the Bluetooth-audio. This is done in the "audio properties" of your standards Windows operating system.
