How do I pair the VMX 100 to a Bluetooth enabled device?
The VMX 100 headset is a fully certified Bluetooth headset and is capable of operating with both Headset & Handsfree* profiles.
To pair the VMX 100 headset to other Bluetooth enabled devices such as PC's, Mac’s, PDA's and mobile phones**, please follow this procedure:
- Put the VMX 100 headset in pairing mode by pressing and holding down the Volume Plus (+) or Volume Minus (-) key, while you open the VMX 100 microphone arm. The LED will flash red/blue.
- Activate the search function of your Bluetooth enabled device and you will find VMX 100 (please refer to your manual for instructions).
- When asked for the pin code enter four zeros (0000).
The VMX 100 will confirm the pairing by a double blink blue from the LED.
*) Please consult the manual of your equipment for confirming the support of the Bluetooth profiles of either Handsfree or Headset.
**) For security reasons, you might need to allow the VMX 100 headset as a trusted device before you can use it together with some devices.
