Causes of echo:

1.  Blocked microphone

As shown in the figure below, the VMX 100 has two microphones, one in the front of the arm and the other below the arm. Sometimes, the microphone under the arm may be blocked by the user’s ear. In this case reposition the VMX 100 to avoid this obstruction.

 

Note:

Different shapes of the ear will reflect the sound differently. Some ears will generate more echo than others.

2. Overly loud output from the speaker

In some cases, overly loud speaker output can create feedback for the person you are talking to. To eliminate this, reduce the headset volume slightly.
