What is G.165 and G.168 standards?
Is the PC USB headset line compatible with G.165 and G.168 protocols?
Both G.165 and G.168 protocols are line or network echo cancellers. The difference is that G.168 validation tests involve more stringent requirements compared to G.165. The G.168 echo canceller is supposed to be superior to G.165, still they can interoperate.
Our USB PC headsets (with USB sound card chip) do not have implemented line or network echo cancellation according to G. 165 and G. 168 protocol.
